I started this site as a creative outlet, but I got more than I bargained for. On top of getting to write about the things I love, I’ve also learned a great deal. This column is about creating GeekyFaucet, and about keeping it going.
I had a great conversation tonight about the future of GeekyFaucet.com. For the last week or so I have been working on the inaugural podcast for the site. Things are looking promising, and I am more excited than ever to get the first episode published, and to increase the content on the site.
I have always been a big fan of learning by trial and error, and that method has definitely been employed a lot lately. I know I’ve already covered the whole “I’ve got a lot of big plans” theme in my introductory blog post, so I’ll spare you the long drawn out paragraph and simply reiterate that I’m really excited about some of the things I hope to accomplish here at GeekyFaucet. I am really lucky to have some great people on board. Thanks to all of you who have stumbled upon us or follow us on twitter. I consider you a part of the team.
